I believe the strongest cultures aren’t built through complicated programs. They’re built through small, intentional actions that help people feel like they belong.

THE WORK
The Micro Inclusions Framework
Inclusion isn’t a program — it’s a practice. The Micro Inclusions framework gives school leaders a practical, everyday toolkit for building communities where every student, teacher, and parent genuinely belongs.
Developed across 30 years of hands-on leadership in international schools on four continents, Micro Inclusions turns big, abstract ideals into small, repeatable actions that any leader can take tomorrow.

One of Tom’s greatest strengths is his ability to foster a strong sense of belonging. He intentionally creates classroom experiences where students feel connected to one another and to the learning community.
Students who might never have been connected to school found a place to belong. Tom didn’t just build a football team—he helped build a stronger school community.
It’s the small things, done repeatedly over time, that lead to big things.
The culture he has established is one of inclusion, accountability, and family. Every player is expected to contribute, every individual is valued, and every success is shared.
Our staff were engaged throughout the entire training, and more importantly, they genuinely bought in to what he was teaching.
He was able to grab the listeners’ attention and keep them engaged throughout his one-hour presentation... I would highly recommend Tom as a lecturer for leadership, culture building, and mentorship conferences.
I’d take a class with Mr. Walls without even knowing what the class is about.
There is a line between friend and teacher and he has the incredible ability to dance along that line comfortably, being both someone a student feels he can relate to, and an authority figure.
Every time I leave his classroom I think to myself that I wish my classroom was like that. It will be impossible to replace what he does, quietly, on a daily basis.
He takes risks, tries new things, and when he sees their benefits, comes back to learn more. He is a model for teachers about the process required for system change.
Tom builds trust through his actions and has a natural ability to connect with people, contribute to team culture, and make others feel valued.
Tom expertly combines personal stories, humour, and real-world strategies to deliver messages that are both memorable and actionable while keeping the audience fully engaged.
